Not just for Instagram, the singer also recently made use of the stunning statement necklace at the start of her ‘Diamonds’ World Tour in New York, pictured here on Redcarpet-fashionawards.com looking just as glamorous.

The necklace is yet another iconic piece from the prestigious Paris based fashion house. Lanvin, launched in 1889, is hailed as Paris’ oldest couture house, known for its elegant clothing with an avant-garde edge and impeccably crafted evening gowns, outerwear, jewellery and handbags, courtesy of Creative Director, Alber Elbaz.

With this indulgent piece, Lanvin have made use of Swarovski article 1028/1088 (as found on the Stephen Arnold website) in a variety of different sizes to achieve the ultra chic effect.

Article number 1088 or the XIRIUS Chaton is widely regarded as Swarovski’s most brilliant element, bringing together the science of the cut and the celebration of crystal. It features a multi-layered gemstone-like cut with rich, varied colour and Platinum Pro foiling for exceptional durability and beauty.

And as Lanvin appear to have proved, the results can make you feel like the Only Girl (in the World).

Camouflage is all the rage at the moment, and Valentino appear to be making the most of it with the Swarovski Camouflage Rockstuds Collection featuring a dazzling arrangement of Swarovski rhinestones.

The Italian fashion house has launched this army-esque range of Swarovski studded accessories as part of the 2013 Spring/Summer collection.

These Rockstud accessories have been jazzed-up with Swarovski stones cleverly arranged in a camouflage pattern on this daring line that includes heels, flats and chain bags.

The chain shoulder bag features Swarovski rhinestones along with platinum finish macro studs, a magnetic closure and leather lining. It costs around $2650 (£1710).

The sling back sandal also features the stunning Swarovski rhinestones and platinum finish studs, as well as three adjustable leather straps, and costs around $1670 (£1078).

The showcase will launch on the website digitalfashionshows.com and will introduce the autumn/winter 2013-14 collections of a select group of designers picked by the British Fashion Council (BFC), and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). The digital platform will also host Atelier Swarovski’s most recent range, featuring a collection of stunning new Swarovski crystal jewellery.

It’s a concept that gives editors, retailers, and consumers unique access to view all of the current collections in one place, accessible via a login facility on the website that requires only a valid email address to create an account.

The curated group of designers are considered some of the most talented American and British designers of today, and the website will act as an international showcase in order to give accessories brands wider exposure across the industry. Designers featured include Sophia Webster, Alejandro Ingelmo, Piers Atkinson and Sophie Hulme.

Nadja Swarovski told InStyle magazine: “Swarovski has a proud heritage of embracing innovation and technology, not just in design but across our communication channels too, so we’re delighted to support this exciting new initiative and hope that the Digital Accessory Showcase rapidly brings its amazing accessories brands to the attention of a new, global audience.”

More than 175 booths will feature vendors offering everything springlike, from floral arrangements to outdoor décor. But one of the stars of this year’s festival (we may be biased ) is Kim Teti from the town of Plum.

Kim Teti, who runs Jewels by KCC – a jewellery line she makes by stringing Swarovski crystal beads in her home workshop – will be a vendor for the first time at this year’s festival.

Teti creates pieces using Swarovski crystals in a range of styles, from formal wedding jewellery, all the way to more eccentric casual sporting wear.

The sporting range includes black and gold crystal necklaces for fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers (American football team, to you and me) and Pittsburgh Pirates (baseball).

Ragiola told Swarovski Elements Magazine: “I wanted to utilize Swarovski Elements in a brand new way. I focused on the masculine qualities of crystal as the ‘Protector’, using rope techniques and metal wire to cover the stones, keeping them ‘safe’, as feminine objects—the crystals’ unique light still shines through, though it appears to be cradled. I felt the design process was an extension of Senhoa’s mission to keep vulnerable young women safe.”

Senhoa Foundation, founded in California in January 2010, helps survivors of human trafficking and young women vulnerable to exploitation by providing a fair wage and creating opportunities to earn an income.

The collection will be handcrafted by women and girls in Cambodia who have survived these traumas, and will help them to share their stories to raise awareness of the issue. All the profits made from the jewellery go back into the foundation.

Zoë Kravitz is the daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and TV and film actress Lisa Bonet. The 24 year old appears to have inherited a range of talents from both mum and dad, starring on the small screen in TV’s Californication with David Duchovny, on the big screen in X-Men: First Class, and is soon to be part of the new Mad Max franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road, set for release in 2014.

She’s also the lead singer in the Philadelphia based Indie Psychedelic band Elevator Fight – a string definitely taken more from her father’s bow. And with a little bit of modelling on the side, there doesn’t appear to be much of an end to the starlet’s talents.

And now: jewellery design. Using her birthstones turquoise and tanzanite (take a look at the Swarovksi Elements beads and pendants colour chart for a better idea), Kravitz and Swarovski have created a new, free-spirited range that includes three styles of bracelet and four necklaces, finished with a delicate leaf shape engraved with the “Zoë Isabella Kravitz” signature. Swarovski describe the range as “Part rocker and part metropolitan hippy, with a whimsical vintage appeal”.

Describing the collection, Zoë says, “I found inspiration in native earthy colours with a little bit of sparkle. The beautiful lights and colours reflected in the Swarovski crystals reminded me of colours you see when the sun is shining on a pool of water. I was inspired by the juxtaposition of the earthy tones of a forest and the beautiful colours of crystals I wanted my earrings to be a combination of those two – earthy tones and beautiful crystals.”

The collection is due for launch in March 2013 and will be available exclusively at the Swarovski Crystallized concept stores in New York and London, and at in-store boutiques in Innsbruck, Vienna, and Kristallwelten in Wattens.

First Swanepoel tries her hand at a spot of motorcycling, donning a lavishly sparkling motorcycle helmet (that could cause as many accidents as it prevents ). Next, a workout session in the gym with Swarovski encrusted dumbbells (above) for a little additional weight to tone up those ‘ceps. And, not content with just a workout, Candice appears to decide the next best use of her day is to hit the slopes, quickly furnishing herself with a set of rather bling looking ski goggles (above).

Candice Swanepoel (24) is best known for her work modelling for American lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret. Originally born in South Africa, she came 10th on the Forbes top-earning models list. No stranger to lists she was also voted #62 in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2011 poll.

The campaign also includes some sensational still life shots combining roses and crystals. Behind the camera is British fashion photographer Nick Knight. Knight is regarded as among the world’s most influential photographers and has won numerous awards for his editorial work for Vogue, Dazed & Confused, and i-D to name but a few.

Speaking about the campaign to HelloMagazine.com, Nadja Swarovski said: “We wanted the campaign to capture the essence of the cool contemporary woman. Beautiful, healthy and strong, she is in charge, and can compete in any way. She is also fun and kind of humorous. Nick catches her spirit perfectly.”

Swarovski have certainly pulled out all the stops with this latest campaign, which pairs two of the fashion world’s biggest names. And it appears to have paid off, generating a wave of publicity around the web, and certainly managing to show off just how Swarovski crystals can be used throughout the creative and design industries to decorate just about…anything.

Linea Calì produces more than 20 types of door handles and accessories using Swarovski Elements crystals, including cabinet knobs, coat hooks and door stops. The Crystal collection on the company’s website features a selection that ranges from the sophisticated to the very contemporary.

The Idea collection (above) for example, features a suave and traditional appeal with a centralised Swarovski Element crystal that wouldn’t look out of place in Buckingham Palace. There’s also a range of cabinet knobs available, that would look jolly nice on one’s bedroom wardrobe.

The Riflesso Mesh door handle (below) features a stunning line-up of clear and light-blue crystals to create a dazzling space-age look, that’s far less regal and much more Starship Enterprise. Both make fantastic use of Swarovski Elements to make what most of us regard as one of the more mundane items around the home, something really quite snazzy. Prices range from a polished-brass-finish handle of around £60, to a pull handle in gold plating at around £950.

Penned by the brand’s creative director, Nathalie Colin, the book is all about mastering the art of adorning yourself for any occasion and self-expression through jewellery – something that may well be of interest to Stephen Arnold customers, the wonderfully creative bunch that they are!

The book has a mirrored cover that reflects the holder’s face, so it appears they’re wearing the necklace featured on the front – a nice touch for the living room coffee table. Pictures aplenty offer all kinds of advice for jewellery fans, such as what to wear at dinner occasions, after dinner, and with various types of outfit.

A free SWAROVSKI MULTIFACE(T)S mobile app is set to be available soon which complements the book’s content. The app includes videos, and a fun/practical feature that allows users to virtually try on jewellery using their phone camera. Users can then ask their friends’ opinions on social media platforms such as Facebook to help decide if an item of jewellery is for them.
